Godfrey Bloom Portrait

Welcome to my blog. An unprecedented democratic deficit is developing in the UK. Our interests are being ignored for the benefit of pointless and self-serving EU and environmental bureaucracies. On this blog I will be offering unfashionable arguments in favour of freedom and democracy, and against the dangerous eco-zealots' attack on our economy, jobs, and industry. Read more...

Here's a short video of me explaining things to my colleagues yesterday. Not that many of them want to listen.

Yes, I understand that you were making a stand against recognising Climate Change is man-made.
I understand that Nick Griffin MEP from the BNP was also doing the same.

Well, you know, he must have been making an argument that appeals to some greens...

"The Green Party was forced to admit today that two of its former leading lights were on a list of British National Party members leaked on the internet this week." - http://www.timesonline.co.uk/tol/news/politics/article5197862.ece

Lib-Dem-turned-Green, Jo Anglezarke argues that the BNP is the natural home of many of her one-time LD collegaues.

"Quite what the recipient of the email had said to David Jack to induce such a vile explosion is a mystery but it confirms the view that many members of the Lib Dems are latent racists, many indeed defecting to the BNP." http://weekisalongtime.blogspot.com/2010/01/two-lib-dem-ppcs-resign.html

"Vote Green, go blackshirt", argues one poster at the excellent Samizdata blog (in spite of and unflattering comment about some UKIP members). http://www.samizdata.net/blog/archives/2008/02/vote_green_go_b.html

Obviously many parties are falling over themselves trying not to be the BNP. I'm not worried that Nick Griffen has decided to take the BNP along a climate sceptic route that appears similar to mine. We have very different policies on almost every other issue, and I have faith that the voters will make the right decision.

Notice that the other parties, however, presented themselves as the only party that would stop the BNP. Talk about a negative campaign.
